ATX CEO Heesook Chae Honored with "Proud Woman Venture Entrepreneur" Award by MSS

SEOUL, KOREA – ATX Co., Ltd. is proud to announce that our CEO, Heesook Chae, was officially recognized and awarded the “Proud Woman Venture Entrepreneur” commendation by the Minister of SMEs and Startups (MSS) during the opening ceremony of the 2022 Women Venture Week.

The event, hosted by the Korea Women Venture Association (KWVA), celebrates outstanding female entrepreneurs who have contributed to the advancement of the venture industry and demonstrated excellence in sustainable management and innovation.

CEO Heesook Chae was selected for this prestigious award in recognition of her leadership in driving corporate growth through advanced technical expertise in special metal processing. Under her guidance, ATX has significantly contributed to national industrial technology development by successfully localizing high-performance metal products that were previously dependent on imports.

During the ceremony, Minister of SMEs and Startups Young Lee—herself a former software entrepreneur—shared a vision for fostering “Next-Generation Female Unicorns.” The ministry announced plans to expand investment funds for female-led firms to 13 billion KRW and enhance special guarantee programs to support technology-based female startups.

“This award is a testament to ATX’s commitment to technical innovation in the specialized material industry,” said a spokesperson for ATX. “We will continue to push the boundaries of special metal engineering and strive to become a global leader in the high-performance material market.”
